I just watched Season One of the show Vindication on Pure Flix. It features Detective Travis in this faith-based crime and drama series. The first couple episodes I thought it would be individual episodes that were not connected at all other than Detective Travis. While each one is a different crime and different focus, we have returning characters and get to know more about the lives of several families.
So many tough plots were addressed through this season. Everything from PTSD, sexting, drug addiction/rehab, autism, human trafficking/prostitution, and more. These shows were a very easy way to bring up tough subjects with my teen and discuss in an open dialogue. I highly recommend using this series to bring up and dive into tough to discuss subjects.
