Life is not measured
by the number of breaths we take,
But by the moments
that take our breath away.
If you've never seen Schoolhouse Rock and the song "I'm Just a Bill," you need to watch the video below FIRST--then you can read on.
When I found out I was headed to Washington DC, I knew I absolutely HAD to have my picture taken with Bill on the steps of the Capitol. So here I am with Bill.
You just can't beat sitting with Bill on Capitol Hill.
And--we entertained the police officers guarding the steps. We weren't sure if they would let us take photos, but they were just making sure nobody went up to the main doors so we could sit on the lower steps. They couldn't believe we were taking pictures with a piece of paper. I guess they haven't seen the video....and I guess I'm the only crazy person who immediately says, "I need my picture with Bill if I'm going to DC!!!"
Welcome to my world.

Oh, I just love that you took Bill with you to Washington D.C. This is too cool for school. :]
That is a cute video...and a cute story! :)
I haven't been to D.C. in ages, even though I only live a couple hours away. I used to take bus trips to the Archives, back in the old days before records were digitalized and available online. :)
Thanks for sharing your Bill post!
