Corner Art Review and Giveaway (open worldwide) **Closed**

I am so excited to have the opportunity to review an item from www.Corner-Art.com. I love reviewing products, but I especially love to review when you, my readers, have the opportunity to win. Yes, Corner Art is offering one, two, actually, they are offering THREE of my readers a Corner Art item of their choice.

All Corner Art designs are silk screened 1/4" pine wood. Each uniquely designed to rest on door and window corner molding without the need for hangers or nails. Easily movable from corner to corner with 15 fun designs to choose from. Each children's design has its own original rhyme on the back.

Corner Art began at a girl's home in South Africa. Our mission was to help these girls create a craft that could be sold at market to tourists... But these critters, made of paper mache, never made it to market. The girls were so proud of their creations they wanted to keep them for their own rooms. When we left South Africa it was with the commitment to create a business that would help support these children that forever changed our lives.

The "heart" found on the front of every Corner Art design represents the 5% of profits donated to the charities listed below. If it doesn't have a heart, it isn't "art with a heart"!

My thoughts:

I was surprised at how incredibly lightweight these are. I knew it was only 1/4" thick pine, but I still expected some weight. When I took it out of the mailer, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Here's the angel I selected, "Dreams".

When I saw how lightweight it was, I became concerned that it wouldn't stay in place. I figured a good door slam and it would tumble off. But, my hubby and I figured if it fell, it's pretty lightweight so it wouldn't hurt anyone.

Boy was I surprised! I shook the door, swung it back and forth and even slammed it a few times. (Kids were outside because we DON'T slam doors in this house!) Would you believe that it stayed up the whole time? Didn't even wiggle. I'm suitably impressed. We are all stunned at how sturdy she is sitting on the corner of the door.

I wanted to make sure I point out that using Corner Art requires no hardware, no nails, no sticky tack, nothing. It just sits on door/window molding. Make sure you think it through when you order your Corner Art. I almost ordered a piece that would sit on the right corner. There's less than 2" between the right side of the door frame and the wall. It wouldn't have worked. That was the only drawback I saw because I really was drawn to some that sat on the right side when I needed a lefty. I wished you could pick right or left for each item.

I also liked how a portion of the profits goes to charity. When I read about the charities that Corner Art is supporting, I knew it was a company that I wanted to work with.

Doesn't she look precious in Rebekah's room? Rebekah loves her praying angel and I heard them 'talking' tonight at bedtime.
