Tips on Tuesday: Signs of Spring

I don'[t know about you, but this winter was long and cold and did I mention long? I've been noticing the signs of spring around us and I've been trying to celebrate each sign of spring that I see.

I realized I was really trying to share my observations with my children. I found a wonderful website to share our observations and perhaps even learn a thing or two along the way.

Check out the Signs of Spring website where you can look for things to observe, report your observations and view what others are observing. It is a site designed for educators and home school parents. While I'm not looking hard at the lesson plans, we enjoy the maps and the Q&A sections.
I believe all regions of the US and Canada are covered in some section of the site. You can even watch the migration of Gray Whales. I've just been very impressed by every section that I've looked through so far. I hope you enjoy it, too.

It's been a lot of fun to see where others are seeing what we are seeing. Earthworms was really a fun one for us.
