Hotel Fun

We recently got to see our Poppa & Grandma and we spent time at a hotel in the process. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. (It's been a long, cold, snowy winter!)


First is Rebekah floating in her vest. She went all over the entire pool. She even managed to bully a boy who appeared to be 11 or 12 into 'sharing' (ha) his cool squirt gun with her.

Nathan was having fun, but got tired of his mini beach balls being taken by his sister and other kids. So he stuck them under his swim shirt until it looked like he had two round shoulder pads or strange growths coming out of his shoulders. Cracked me up!

Then when he wanted to play with the balls, he'd pull them out.

We had a great time at the hotel. My kids would love to live their life in hotels so they really take to the whole experience well. They had a small lending library at the hotel (take a book/leave a book). Every time we'd walk by, Rebekah would take a picture book back to the room. She would return it on the next trip by the shelves and grab a different one. I think we read eight stories in less than 24 hours.

Oh, the breakfast buffet was incredible! I was stuffed to the gills. And I managed to sneak the last biscuit and gravy right as they closed up the buffet line. I ate it to honor my father. LOL! OK, maybe I ate it because I love biscuits and gravy but don't make them at home so I won't eat them all.
