Music on Blog

I've added some music to the blog. For this first time foray into blog music, I chose all the songs that have special meaning to our family.

"Cinderella" is so special to us now that we have a little girl. Our baby girl is starting to want to dance and loves to have Daddy as her partner. Here's a photo from the reunion of Daddy dancing with his Cinderella.

"He's Walking Her Home" is so very much the story of Sean & I. We were at the same college. When I went to dinner the first night (alone), I saw him and recognized him from a class. He looked 'safe' so I sat with him. The next night he walked me home from our department meeting across campus. We lived in the same dorm building and would walk to/from classes together. It was the start of a beautiful friendship that turned to love, marriage and kids. In the song, their first son is born 10 years after they meet. Well, Andrew was born 10 years after we met.

"Butterfly Kisses" was so meaningful to us as we anticipated the birth of Andrew. We didn't know girl or boy, but this song reminded us to treasure all the moments that were coming our way.

"He's My Son" is just beautiful. Grab a Kleenex.

"Find Your Wings" I got to sing at Rebekah's dedication. I almost made it through without crying. Grab another Kleenex.

"Worthy is the Lamb" is currently my favorite worship song.

"Shout to the Lord" is one of my all time favorite worship songs.

"Thank You" reminds me to obey the Lord in giving and make an eternal difference.
