Last week, Nathan's Kindergarten class put on the play, "The Three Billy Goats Gruff." It was a wonderful time. They sang songs they had learned and did the play. Nathan was narrator #4 and #5. Here are some pictures of the narrators (class), the 3 billy goats and the Troll who lives under the bridge.
Nathan surprised us when he stepped up during the post-play music to sing a solo. He sang "You are my Sunshine" and this mom cried. I cry every time I watch this video. I thought it was just me, but all the moms came up to tell us his singing made them tear up, too. After a very LONG week at school with some issues and meltdowns, I was so happy to rejoice in my beautiful Nathan singing like an angel. I've reflected a lot this week on how far he has come in a year. I'm so proud of him for facing his fears and singing to the crowd of 50+ people. Enjoy!
