What is it all about?  Junkapolooza is where Pinterest and supplies meet. Lol.  It is all things retro, vintage, antique, or new and never seen before, crafty, well-crafted, repurposed, unique, or gems ready to be transformed.  Basically, a little of everything from vintage water coolers to gourds to license plate art. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure as they say, and it will all be waiting in Oakland for you to purchase and take home!  

Great news for Omaha area readers - keep reading, I'm giving away tickets to Junkapolooza - but Oakland is only about 30 minutes from Omaha AND they have timed it so you can also attend Antique Days in Walnut. All in one fun filled weekend! 

For me, I hope everyone I know can attend. Oakland was hit with tornadoes and straight line winds and they could use this boost to the town morale. Also, I love the idea of repurposing items instead of filling a landfill. I also think we have all sorts of things that we think are junk or that we are tired of--but it's new to someone else and that might be the one thing they were looking for to.... (fill in that blank for yourself)
